1796 S-107 R5 Draped Bust G5. A couple points sharper but lightly corroded and smoothed. No verdigris or notable marks. Glossy very dark steel and olive brown. The date is clear and the legends are complete, although a few elements are weak due to the roughness. Extremely rare LDS, Breen state II, with a full cud break at TY extending to the rim before the eye. Only 6 are examples in this die state are known to us, and the best of those grades net VG8. An important cent for the die state specialist. Estimate Value $600 - UP
