1796 S-89 R3 Liberty Cap VG8. Rather glossy medium chocolate brown and steel. A glass reveals traces of microscopic roughness in a few places but it is insignificant. The notable marks are two thin rim nicks left of the date and a dull rim nick or chip over the L in LIBERTY. MDS, Breen state II, with crumbling at the lips. The date is bold and the legends are complete. Estimate Value $600 - UP
