1794 S-62 R4+ F12. Sharpness VF20 with some small nicks and minor roughness present on both sides. No verdigris. The best identifying marks are a small dig on the front edge of the nose and another on the lips. Olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown toning on the devices. LDS, Breen state II, with a large, bold cud break reaching inside the dentils on the left side of the obverse. The date and legends are complete and strong. A nice cent in spite of the minor imperfections, and it comes with an equally nice provenance. Removed from an NGC slab graded VF20 (NGC label #3417835-007 included, and it shows the attribution).
