Lot 226
1794 S-17a R5- Head of and Edge of 1793 G5. A couple points sharper but covered with fine roughness that presents in a diagonally striated pattern. No verdigris. The only marks are a dull scratch through the ends of the curls under the cap and a smaller one on the lower part of the neck. EDS, Breen state I. The date is strong and the legends are complete (although the fine roughness weakens some of the letters). The edge lettering is bold. Estimate Value $500 - UP
