Divus Septimius Severus. Silver Denarius (3.35 g), died AD 211. Rome, under Caracalla, 211. DIVO PIO, bare head of Septimius Severus right. Reverse: CONSECRATIO, eagle standing facing, head left, on globe. RIC 191c; BMC 21; RSC 84. Boldly struck on a nice wide flan of excellent metal. Delicately toned. Superb Extremely Fine.
