Trajan. Æ As (11.58 g), AD 98-117. Rome, AD 107/8. Laureate bust of Trajan right, slight drapery on far shoulder. Reverse: Octastyle temple: on pediment, Jupiter seated between two reclining figures; on roof, five statues; between central columns, Pax standing facing. RIC 575; Woytek 304b. Scarce architectural reverse type. Mottled glossy dark red-brown and green patina, some smoothing. Choice Very Fine. Estimate Value $250 - 300
