Domitian. Silver Tetradrachm (11.13 g), AD 81-96. Ephesus (or Rome), AD 82/3. Laureate head of Domitian right. Reverse: Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus containing statues of Juno, Jupiter and Minerva; pediment decorated with anguipede monster, facing quadriga at apex of roof. RIC -; RPC 867; RSC -. An extremely rare variety - RPC records just one specimen (although a couple more examples are known). Very Fine. Estimate Value $500 - 600
