1794 S-72 R2 Exact Head of 1795 VG10. Sharpness slightly better but lightly cleaned and retoned an attractive frosty medium steel brown and light chocolate. The only notable mark is a dull rim nick or tiny rim bruise at ST in STATES. MDS, Breen state III, with die cracks on both sides. The edge lettering is blundered and reads ONE HUNDRDED FOR A DOLLAR with a stray but clearly defined "D" wedged between the R & E in HUNDRED. In addition the entire date shows clear doubling from die bounce. Nicely struck with the date and legends all bold. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
