1794 S-47 R4 PCGS graded VF25. Glossy medium chocolate brown with a puff of reddish brown toning on the 179 and shoulder. No roughness or verdigris but there are some light scratches on the highpoints of the hair near the ear, a small punch or nick inside the 9 in the date, and a tiny rim bruise under the right end of the denominator. EDS, Breen state I, with an uncracked reverse. Graded F15 by Del Bland. Noyes says VF20 net F12 and tied for CC#12, his photo #20157. Our grade is VF20 sharpness net F15. The attribution and Trollan provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 7 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $1,500 - UP
