Lot 1395

1854. PCGS graded MS-65. A lovely well struck coin. Has lots of eye appeal for this classic Type I design with the small head of Liberty on the obverse. Delicate signs of die clashing are found in the reverse fields. Liberty's hair curls are particular well struck, and the surfaces are ablaze with classic orange gold luster. An impressive example of this important type issue. Pop 43; 28 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 7525) Estimate Value $2,200 - 2,300
