1870 Pattern Quarter Dollar. Aluminum, reeded edge. Judd-886. Pollock-985. High Rarity 7. PCGS graded Proof 65 Cameo. CAC. A wonderful pattern. The obverse shows a full figure of Liberty seated facing left, her right hand supports a shield draped with ribbon inscribed LIBERTY. Her left hand holds an olive branch. The date below and 13 stars surround, a pole behind her supports a cap surmounted at the top. The reverse is the normal dies of 1867 for a quarter dollar. Pop 1; 2 finer, 1 in 66, 1 in 67+ Deep Cameo. Estimate Value $10,000 - UP
