1890-O. PCGS graded MS-65 Deep Mirror Prooflike. The surfaces are bright and untoned with abundant white frost on Liberty's face and the eagle. The surfaces are satin smooth and free of all but a few minor signs of handling. the strike is better than average, with just a touch of softness on the curls over Liberty's ear and on the eagle's breast. This is common to this New Orleans issue. A pleasing example of this scarce date in the rarest designation of DMPL! Pop 20; 3 finer for DMPL, 2 in 65+ DMPL, 1 in 66 DMPL.
