1838. NGC graded MS-66. Well struck with rich golden toning on both sides that favors the periphery, while the centers are bright silver. Minor die cracks are noted on the reverse, one enters near the top of the left wing and continues down through the center of the shield, another crosses into the eagle's beak. An important offering as one of the finest seen of this date, with this being a short lived type coin as well. Pop 4; 1 finer in 67. Estimate Value $25,000 - UP
