1824, 4 over 4. O-110, Rarity 2. NGC graded MS-65. Nicely toned with delicate golden gray hues that span both sides. The strike is reasonably sharp on all but the highest design elements, as typically seen on these hand struck coins. The 4 is repunched, much like an overdate from this era. Rare so fine! Pop 2; 1 finer in 66 at NGC for the variety. Estimate Value $8,000 - UP
