Sauer's Centennial Edition Clock -- An American Classic Regulator Wall Clock. Hand-assembled, limited edition clock, this being 62/1000. Mahogany case with reversed acid-etched, gold-leafed glass depicting awards won at international competitions. The glass bears the "Centenial Edition" inscription and etched serial number. Instructions on how to set the clock are on the back.

In 1918, the C.F. Sauer Company commissioned the New Haven Clock Company of New Haven, CT. to produce these mahogany-cased clocks, which were never sold but were offered to stores for display with the purchase of $125 of Sauer's Extracts. Robert G. Draucker of Antique Clock Restorations was authorized to recreate a limited edition of 1000 beginning in 1991. This heirloom clock is one of the most coveted treasures of collectors.
