Chinese Export Issue Famille Porcelain Bowl, Late 18th or Early 19th Century. The European market's demand during the late 18th to mid 19th Century proved a remarkable boon to the craftsman in China. An entire industry was born and centuries late demand by collectors for Chinese Export Porcelain. Offered is a fine example 5 x 10" x 10" boasting 5 stylized vignettes in brilliant polychrome enamel colors of domestic/family life, four, surrounding the bowl on a gilt Y-diaper background and one inside. In excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs exhibiting only some wear to the gilt edge of the bowl. Estimate Value $600 - UP
