Jean Harlow: Six Vintage Original 8 x 10" Stills, Four from Various Films Including Hold Your Man with Gable and a Hurrell Photo. Jean Harlow proved a major Hollywood star and an undeniable sex symbol of the 1930s. She was one of a kind. This lot consists of four (4) stills from early 1930s: MGM films including two from HOLD YOUR MAN (1933) a wonderful double weight publicity photo with Spencer Tracy for RIFF RAFF (1936) shot by George Hurrell, and a still with Lionel Barrymore and Patsy Kelly from THE GIRL FROM MISSOURI (1934.) Rounding out the collection are two portraits, one early in her career, wearing a cloche to publicize THE SATURDAY NIGHT KID (1929) with Clara Bow, and the other a formal full length portrait at the foot of MGM Studio's famous set of stair frequently seen in films wearing a velvet and mink trimmed dress.
