(1913-2005) Civil rights activist whose refusal to give up her seat on the bus to a white man in 1955 Montgomery, Alabama led to the Montgomery Bus Boycott and reverberated around the nation. She is called "mother of the modern day civil rights movement." Signature in black ink on a 1½ x 2½" card.
