Debussy, Claude -- ALS to French Composer Paul Vidal. (1862-1918) French composer. Autograph letter signed, one-half page, 5½ x 4¼", in French, on personal stationery engraved 80, Bois de Boulogne, December 12, 1910. Addressed in his hand to "Monsieur Paul Vidal, 36 Rue Ballu. P" Debussy accepts an invitation to see French composer, conductor, and music teacher, Paul Vidal (1863-1931) the following day at 5:30. Using the familiar "tu" form, he says he is looking forward to seeing Vidal and sends affectionate regards. Scarce autograph. Fine. Estimate Value $500 - UP
