1861. NGC graded MS-63. CAC. PQ. A lovely untoned example with strong satiny luster on the obverse and reverse. The strike is sharp throughout, and the surfaces amazing for an early Type 1 double eagle (that wasn't recovered from a shipwreck). The reverse is very smooth. Housed in an NGC Early Holder.
