1854. Small date. PCGS graded MS-62. Nice orange toning with fully struck and frosted on the devices, the surfaces are pleasing with minimal signs of bag handling. Although the Small Date is more plentiful than the Large Date variation for 1854, at this lofty grade level any 1854 double eagles is a rare prize.
