1871. PCGS graded Proof 65. Lovely blue and russet gold toning that is perfectly organizied with deep blue around the rims and this fades to lighter lilac and russet to the centers of both sides. Another condition rarity at the gem grade level, with precious few available to satisfy collector demand. While this example is not the absolute finest, its well within the top few percent and a coin which any specialist will long be proud to own. Bold visual appeal and handsome in every way.
