1810/09 S-281 R1 Overdate 10 over 09 VF20. Very attractive glossy light to medium chocolate brown. The surfaces are smooth and show only minor contact marks. The notable ones are a diagonal nick on star 3 and a small planchet flake on the right foot of the A in STATES (as struck). Nicely struck MDS, Breen state III, with light die clashmarks on the reverse. The overdate feature is clearly visible to the unaided eye. A nice mid-grade example of this popular overdate.
