1808 S-277 R2 PCGS Genuine VF Details Tooled. Slightly glossy dark olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown toning on the highpoints. Looks reasonably smooth but a glass shows microscopic roughness over both sides. No notable traces of verdigris but there is an old scratch slanting through the cap over BER and a couple more around ON in ONE. MDS, Breen state IV, with die cracks on the reverse and die clashmarks on both sides. The die is starting to sink at TA in STATES but those letters and the opposing star 1 are still clearly visible. Our grade is VF30 sharpness net F15. Estimate Value $375 - UP
