1834. Large date, small letters. Overton-106, Rarity 1. NGC graded MS-65. Lovely rich blue toning around the rims, fading to russet gold at the centers. Outstanding luster in the fields, and the strike is sharp enough to boldy define the curls on Liberty and all but a few wing feathers on the eagle. Study of the fields finds no detracting marks or handling issues, keeping this coin solidly in the gem class. A glorious gem! Pop 4; 1 finer in 66+ for the variety at NGC.
