1855 N-10 R1 Italic 55 PCGS graded MS65 Brown. Frosty light olive and bluish steel brown with generous traces of mint red remaining on both sides. No spots, and the only mark is a very light nick or planchet flake on the rim left of the first S in STATES. E-MDS, die state b, with star 6 very weak due to a clog in the die. Our grade is MS62. Another very attractive "12-star" 1855 Italic 55 cent. Estimate Value $500 - UP
