Agrippina I. Æ Sestertius (28.99 g), died AD 33. Rome, under Claudius, AD 42-54. AGRIPPINA M F GERMANICI CAESARIS, draped bust of Agrippina I right, hair at back of neck tied in long queue. Reverse: TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GERM P M TR P IMP P P around large S C. RIC 102; BN 236; BMC 219. Rare. Uniform medium green patina with some reddish tone. We note some smoothing in the fields and light tooling of the devices. Nice large flan. Choice Very Fine. Estimate Value $1,500 - 2,000
