1851 N-6 R1 Repunched 1's NGC graded MS62 Brown. Attractive frosty light chocolate and steel brown. Just a hint of friction on the highest points of the devices and no notable marks. MDS with a large and relatively deep low spot that nearly obliterates the NT in CENT (caused by debris stuck on the die). The obverse is choice and looks mint state. The NGC label says "Mint Error" and "Rev Struck Thru" which are correct. A relatively common type of mint error but this one is more obvious than most. Our grade is AU50+. Estimate Value $125 - UP
