1849 N-28 R3 NGC graded MS63 Brown. Frosty steel brown and light chocolate with faint hints of very faded red peeking through in protected areas on the obverse (possibly the result of a very old cleaning on that side). No spots or stains, and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. Nicely struck EDS, die state a. The myriad die lines around ONE CENT are sharp and the minor rim cuds under the 49 to star 13 are visible. Our grade is AU58, tied for CC#4 in the Grellman census. Estimate Value $400 - UP
