1849 N-27 R4 NGC graded MS62 Brown. Lustrous light olive brown and chocolate with bluish steel overtones. Looks mint state but there is a faint hint of friction on the very highest points of the devices. No spots or stains, just a few tiny ticks on the cheek and jaw. Nicely struck EDS, die state a. The narrow rim cud breaks over F-AMERICA to off the end of the wreath stem are clear. A nice cent. Our grade is AU58+, close to mint state, and CC#4 for the variety in the Grellman census.
