1795-1815 Eight Early U.S.A. Stampless Mail. Interesting group of 8 better stampless folded letters. Includes two bearing BOSTON straight line cancel & Bishops mark, 1796 & 1800, respectively. Also two Portsmouth NH straight line cancels with dates 1795 & 1798, 1797 New York straight line with date, 1797 Petersburg VA straight line with date, 1814 Columbia TN straight line with date (badly creased clear of mark) and 1815 Nashville TN oval mark with 37½¢ war rate charged (edge soiling) to Natchez.
