This was a decades long collection to assemble, a passion to collect as many variations of commemoratives world wide with regards to space exploration. Included in this collection of sterling silver pieces are those issued by the US Mint, Pobjoy Mint, UK, Franklin Mint, Danbury Mint, as well as a variety of countries.
There are about 250 coins and medallions, the bulk of them one troy ounce, a few larger, a few smaller. Almost all are proofs, sealed, encased or slabbed with several in presentation folios and boxes. While every achievement in space is represented, clearly the Apollo 11, first landing on the moon is the dominant commemoration. Coins are in overall mint condition and priced welll below melt.
