STS 51-A, STS 51-D, STS 51-E, Flight Controller's Files, Handwritten Logs, and Mission Operation Manuals. NASA Flight Controller's collection of operational rules, activity plans for three Shuttle flights and most impressive several workbooks of handwritten logs and notes for STS 51-A and STS 51-D that intrigue. From STS 51-A two printed manuals addressing Crew Activity Plans and Final PAM Deploy Checklist, a heavily tabbed comprehensive reference manual. Also included is a spiral notebook, about 14 pages, handwritten by the Flight Controller involving a myriad of issues, as well as many loose memos and other inserted notes. Material from STS 51-D has a few stapled Daily Execute Packages and Flight Crew Reports. But significantly two notebooks full of memos and a very large number of handwritten pages in both. The Flight Director's observations, concerns, virtually a diary of issues in April of 1985, and makes for fascinating reading. Also two pictures of the payload with notations.
