Never Seen Personal Photos: Apollo 11, Quarantine Trailer and Fabrication, Offical Lunar Mission Badges. Outstanding collection of 27 photos and badges by NASA flight director early in his career involved with the Apollo 11 isolation trailer fabrication and transport. Twelve black and white 3½ x 4¼ " photos taken during the fabrication of the NASA Mobile Quarantine, a converted Airstream in Falls Church, VA after the Apollo 11 mission to quarantine the astronauts to guard against possible contagions. Best are fifteen 3 x 5" black and white photos of the NASA Mobile Quarantine Facility being unloaded at Hickam AFB and then surrounded by throngs of well wishers and navy personnel with Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins inside. These have never been seen before and are outstanding. Also included are 3 Lunar Receiving Badges for Apollo 11, 13, 14 and 17, with the Apollo 17 badge having affixed a much later made and scarce Apollo 17 memorial button for the crew of The Challenger which reads God Bless America and Challenger, Well Done, All Apollos.
