Apollo Mission: Three Massive Ringed Work Binders, Lunar Module Systems Handbooks LM-1. The Lunar Module (LM, pronounced "Lem"), originally designated the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM), was the lander portion of the Apollo spacecraft built for the US Apollo program by Grumman Aircraft to carry a crew of two from lunar orbit to the surface and back. 6 such craft landed on the moon, a 7th kept the crew of Apollo 13 alive. These are the personal files of NASA's 10th flight director, a 31-year veteran who called the shots from the Mission Control console once occupied by NASA legends like Chris Kraft and Gene Kranz. Materials begin August 1964 to end of 1967. While two manuals are both dated 10/27/66, one is so crammed with additional memorandum it is literally double in thickness. An amazing archive and defintely exhibit use and repeated referencing. Estimate Value $300 - UP
