Group of ten Roosevelt opponents: Alf Landon, signed 9 x 5¾" campaign print; Wendell Wilkie, 1943 TLS; Sewell Avery, 1944 TLS; Bruce Barton, 1949 TLS; Joseph W. Martin, Jr., cut signature; Hamilton Fish, 1965 TLS; Louis Johnson; 1940 TLS on War Dept. letterhead; Roy Cohn, ISpprogram; and two letters by Dewey supporters. With a group of seven of FDR's speechwriters: Samuel Rosenman, cut signature with typed postscript; Robert Sherwood, partial legal document signed; Archibald MacLeish, signature on 2 ½ x 4 1/2 " page; William C. Bullitt, signature on 4 ½ x 5 ½" page; Dorothy Thompson, 1937 TLS; Joseph Alsop, TDS; and Stuart Chase, 1931 TLS. With two FDcs, one memorializing FDR and the "Little White House" at Warm Springs, Ga. and one the 50th Anniversary of the Social Security Act. Overall fine.
