Fine 4 Ducat Coin Pendant in a 14K Yellow Gold Double Bezel. Beautiful bezel set 4 ducat coin pendant. The ducat was first issued by the Kingdom of Austria in the first years of the 17th century. The last regular issue of the 4 ducat denomination for circulation was between 1872 - 1915 during the last years of the reign of Franz Joseph I, emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, before the start of World War I. The coin shows light wear for a jewelry piece and very appealing in that on one side the coin has a rope bezel, and when flipped to the other side, the bezel appears to be rendered in delicate scroll work Just at 1¾" in diameter, coin weighs 14 grams total gross weight 21 grams.
