Gent's Matched Pair of Crusader Gold, Dinars from Fatimid Caliph of Egypt Islamic Gold Coins. Handsome, striking and very nicely matched pair of gold dinars from Al-Amir, the Fatmid Caliph who ruled his empire from 495-524 AH (1101 - 1130 AD). Each coin is set in modern 14K yellow gold bezel cufflinks that impress with their craftsmanship because of the round and open scrollwork that secures the bezel to the links but also allows a partial view of the verso. Dinars weighs 4¼ grams and are about 21 mm in diameter. Total gross weight of the pair of cufflinks and coins is 22¾ grams. In superior condition. Estimate Value $1,800 - UP
