Judaea: Ancient Holy Land Drinking or Oil Lamp Chalice. Ceramic Iron Age chalice ('aggan) ca. 1200-600 BC in good condition Chalice is intact, but there is a missing triangular piece at the base and other chips around the base, encrustrations, and surface scrapes and pits. Chalices were found in both ritual and normal household contexts. Consistent in appearance from the pottery found in and around Khirbet Qeiyafa. Dimensions: 6¼ x 8 x 8" and despite minor issues of condition, displays nicely. Estimate Value $600 - UP
