Islamic Terracotta Jug 900 -1200 AD, Found in Jericho, With COA & Provenance. A fine Islamic terracotta jug with exceptional geometric design completely surrounding the body and handle. We note a couple of chips along the lip that appear recent and we note a supremely accomplished area of restoration which we did not note until under UV light. Jug is approximately 8 x 6 x 6" Comes with original COA from Barakat & Sons Antiquities Gallery which was located in the Jerusalem Plaza Hotel. Irrespective of the flaws, this piece displays beautifully and would be a fine addition to any collection. Estimate Value $500 - UP
