Greek: Outstanding Aryballos in Form of a Shoe 5th Century BC, Intact. Painted terracotta aryballos 5 Century BC. An aryballos was a small spherical or globular flask with a narrow neck used in Ancient Greece to contain perfume or oil. This example intrigues as it is in the shape and painted to appear like a shoe. 70mm x 94mm in excellent condition. Estimate Value $600 - UP
