Egypt, Scarce, Intact Pottery Lid ca 11th Dynasty 1960-1948 BCE. Fine and quite scarce piece of pottery lid dating to the 11th Dynasty in ancient Egypt, likely during the reign of King Menuhotep III 1960-1948 BCE. This bowl has a flaring rim and tapered ovoid body with the original red slip pigment in nearly perfect condition. There are no cracks, no restoration, no re-painting on this piece whatsoever and in near-choice found condition. Measures Just at 7¾" in diameter. Estimate Value $250 - UP
