Four High-Quality Amos Doolittle Reproduction Prints of the Battle of Lexington and Concord. A complete set of four reproduction prints of the Amos Doolittle's engravings, each 9½ x 13¼", each matted to 11½ x 15½" and framed to 14½ x 18½". Doolittle's four original engravings of the Battle of Lexington and Concord are among the rarest American historian prints. They were engraved by Doolittle in 1777 after Ralph Earle. These reproduction prints were created around 1970 by the R R Donnelley & Sons Company.
The four plates are:
Plate I - "The Battle of Lexington, April 19th, 1775";
Plate II - "A View of the Town of Concord";
Plate III - "The Engagement at the North Bridge in Concord";
Plate IV - "A View of the South Part of Lexington". Estimate Value $300 - UP
