Bragg, Charles -- Two Large Lithos, Signed and Numbered: The Fifth Day and The Court Jester. Recently passed and beloved painter, sculptor and author Charles Bragg (1931-2017) has been called America's "foremost social satire artist." Widely exhibited in museums and galleries, Bragg's art has been commissioned by countless magazines documented in a PBS program. Offered are a pair of signed and limited edition lithos that very much compliment each other. The horizontal work is entitle "The Fifth Day" part of his "Creation Series" Here you can see him assembling the creatures of the air and sea….and of note the serpent, the apple. Lithograph is #20 of 300, titled and signed by Bragg. Colors are vivid, crow has small red mark below crows' eye. Litho is large, 14 x 20" and famed and matted to 24 x 28". The other is "The Court Jester" and a major favorite of his fans. Colors vivid, 20 x 14" and framed and matted to 25 x 22. Both have frames have minor scuffs. Estimate Value $250 - UP
