Handsome Bronze Bear on Carrera Marble Base, After Pierre-Jules Mene. A bronze sculpture of a bear after Pierre-Jules Mene (France, 1810-1879). This work depicts a bear with a salmon in its mouth, stepping forward with one leg lifted. The piece is inscribed "Mene" to the bear’s back foot.
