L'Huillier, Jacques -- Late 19th Century French Post-Impressionist Painter. Paysage de Printemps (1867-Not recorded) Jacques L'Hullier, accomplished painter from Marseille known for his landscapes. Offered is an oil on textured canvas ca, 1890s of a woman and child off to market. The canvas is heavily textured giving the work an appealing, almost stippled effect. Canvas is 20 x 28½", was at one time lined with newsprint but almost all removed. Framed to 27 x 36" in heavy gilt wood frame. Hullier has signed in lower right J. L'Huillier.
