Amiry, Teimur -- Popular Contemporary Artist Known for his Photo Realism. Pocket Change An unframed still life of four coins highlighted by a penny standing on its side adjacent to a folded upright dollar bill. This piece is hand painted over a photo print (this process is known as an oil graphic) on a textured paper that resembles a canvas, and then stretched and attached to a hardwood frame. It measures 11" x 14" and is modestly framed to 13½ x 16". Amiry owned three galleries in Beverly Hills over a forty year period (Beverly-Wilshire Hotel, Rodeo Drive, and Beverly Drive) and his works proved very popular with the elite of Hollywood.
