A fine archive with biographies of original signatures by some of the greatest stars in Hollywood, most from the Golden Age. All are clean, bold signatures including: James Cagney, Mae West, Douglas Fairbanks Sr., Mary Pickford, Laurence Olivier, Richard Burton, a fantastic John Barrymore, Lillian Gish, Rudy Vallee, George Murphy, the inimitable Sophie Tucker, Bing Crosby, the great John Gielgud, Maurice Evans, Richard Chamberlain, Edward Fox, Alec Guinness, Noel Coward, a signed contract plus a signed book page by Maurice Chevalier, Louis Armstrong, and James Mason. Finishing the collection are Gregory Peck, Lloyd Bridges, Alan King, Bobby Short, Burl Ives, Sally Rand, Suzanne Pleshette, and more, including a few well known studio chiefs such as Hal Wallis, Charles Bludhorn, and Leo Jaffe. Finally, while not a film star, a carte de visite of the famed Shakespearean stage actor, Edwin Booth (brother of assassin John Wilkes Booth) and a signed calling card.
