Outstanding Collection of 15 Western Film Stars, Including John Wayne, Will Rogers, Tom Mix & William S. Hart. The history of film owes an enormous debt to the men and women who recreated the action, excitement, danger and beauty of the Ameican Western. Offered is an excellent collection of 15 autographs from some of the greatest Western stars spanning three generations. Included in this fine collection: John Wayne, a large bold signature "Good Luck John Wayne" 4½ x 6½"; a note signed by Will Rogers (and Dorothy Stone); Tom Mix; Academy Award Winner Ben Johnson; Gene Autry; William S. Hart (one of the first Western stars); a large signature of Randolph Scott; Monte Hale; Wallace Knott (Knotts Berry Farm). Also included are Joel McCrea, Chief Hó Ton Ya, Dickie Jones, Crash Corrigan, Leo Carrillo (The Cisco Kid but also one of California's greatest conservationists/preservationists), and a signed contract to 20th Century Fox by the greatest Western stuntman in history (as well as the film Ben Hur) Yakima Canutt.
