Outstanding Collection of Rare Relics and Artifacts from Great War Ships, Aircraft and Frigates. Part Two of a great collection of relics and commemoratives. 1.) Outstanding original and heavy section of oak timber from the USS New Hampshire (1818-1922) the last of the US 74 gun warships. The copper and bronze fastenings were by Paul Revere and Sons. Plaque and finely rendered original painting of ship in upper right corner with original wood nail affixed. 2.) Original round teak section with carved details taken from the HMS Iron Duke with brass bell inside, Brass plaque identifying affixed at top.3.) Two original percussion cap tins. One has Ordinance label dated "1884 USS Pensacola" fountain pen ink still very much legible. The other a label atop tin box where one can read "Captain W……." with both given their 100 years in age in amazing condition. 4.) Hand fashioned sewing box from USS Oregon 5.) Bell fashioned from downed German fighter plane in Britain for the RAF Benevolent Fund 6.) Brass tankard made from metal collected on battlefields of North Africa in WWII. The balance are other commemoratives to USS Enterprise, HMS Cambrian, men lost at sea, brass from USS North Carolina made into ashtray, a ships kitchen chop and more. Estimate Value $600 - UP
